Techno International New Town offers education in the field of Engineering, Science, and Computer at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The courses offered at UG level are B.Tech in 7 different specializations, BBA, B.Sc in 2 different specializations, and BCA. Techno International New Town (TINT) formerly known as Techno India College of Technology is a private engineering college of the Techno India Group, it was founded in the year of 2005 and it is located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. TINT Kolkata B.Tech course Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech:Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized board of education with PCM subject.

B.Tech (Lateral Entry): Candidates must have passed with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in Diploma in relevant discipline or B.Sc degree

TINT Kolkata B.Tech & B.Tech (Lateral) Selection Process:

  • Candidates belonging to the State of West Bengal should possess a valid score in the Joint Entrance Exam (WB JEE) conducted by WBJEE Board in order to secure admission.
  • Candidates belonging to the other states will have to appear in JEE Main conducted by CBSE and then have to apply for the counseling process which will be conducted by JoSSA.
  • The selection of candidates for Lateral entry will be based on rank obtained in Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET).
  • The final selection will be done through counseling conducted by the Board.

First I clear jee main exam, then you get the opportunity to choose the college and get an allotment letter. But if you do not clear the jee main exam, you go to the college and talk to the college authorities, they are really good. They help you to gain admission.

Remarks:

I am pursuing a Btech in Information Technology from this college. I took admission through the WBJEE entrance exam, the admission process is simple it is based on rank (GMR). 4 yr Btech fee of this college is 6.25 Lakh in the session 23-24. The faculty members are very friendly and helpful. The campus size is not that much big, but you can enjoy your clg life. There are lots of clubs in which you can participate according to your interests. Here sports tournaments and festivals are organised every year.

Candidates must complete their 12th standard with a minimum aggregate score of 45% in the science stream in PCM, including subjects like physics, chemistry, and maths. There is no age limit for applying to this course.

Eligibility of the course- higher secondary pass out and wbjee, jee main rank. You find the application at www.wbjee.nic.in, www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. Sc, St, obc, tfw reservation quota is available. Application fees are 500. The admission process should be quick.

Before choosing a college, you should ask yourself a few questions to determine which one is suitable for you. Here are some questions to consider:

  • Can you handle rigid discipline or do you want your college to be a bit relaxed?
  • Can you keep up an 80% attendance or are you a frequent class bunker?
  • Can you give up fun and mischief for a better future or do you want to have fun and then have a mediocre future?
  • Do you want 100% guaranteed placements with good salary or do you want 95% guaranteed placement with a manageable salary?
  • Do you want to be trained for GATE, government jobs, and company interviews or not?

If your answers are "yes" to the former part of the questions, then UEM is the college for you. Although the travel route may be tough and discipline is rigid with stiff attendance requirements, UEM offers a variety of opportunities that can benefit your future. Here are some advantages of UEM:
