Interested candidates can apply online for B.E and Ph.D courses. Furthermore, in case of the Ph.D., students can also apply in offline mode. The application process for both the modes is prescribed below:

Online Mode

1. Candidates are required to visit the official website of the college and click on the “Apply Online” link.
2. The online application will require them to fill their details such as name and mobile number.
3. As soon as the student fills the above details, the screen will display a page asking for more information.
4. Now candidates have to fill personal, communication and education details and enter the captcha.
5. Once the entire form is filled, they need to click on the “Submit” button.
6. Candidates will then be called or mailed, giving instructions on the further steps to apply for the courses, submit their documents and also to submit the fees.

Offline Mode (For Ph.D only)

1. Candidates need to first download the application form from the official website of VTU.
2. They should then meet with the concerned HOD in the college’s campus to discuss upon the topics which they would prefer to opt for their study.
3. They are then advised to pay a fee of INR 5,000/- towards counselling fees, seat reservation and application fees.
4. After paying, they need to submit the filled application form along with the receipt of INR 5,000/-
5. The candidates are also informed that they will be receiving back the same application form with the signatures and seal of the concerned HOD and Principal.
6. Lastly, candidates have to submit this application form in VTU, Belgaum personally.

Aspirants seeking admission to the program must have Passed in 10+2/PUC/12th Std. examination with a minimum 45% of marks (40% SC/ST/OBC applicable only for Karnataka students) in Physics, Mathematics as compulsory and Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship subject taken together.

ENTRANCE EXAM

CET(only for Karnataka students),COMEDK/AIEEE/ JEE Entrance examination is compulsory for all the students

Fees for Foreign/NRI:

NRI students will have to pay Rs.50,000/- & Nepal students Rs.35,000/- extra for admission.
