Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT) is located in Tumkur Karnataka. The college has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC).

The Institute runs 9 programmes in Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and 7 Postgraduate programmes, Several Doctoral programmes and Master of Computer Application across the branches of Engineering and Basic Science.

Admissions to all courses are done through the entrance exam. Admissions to the UG courses are done through KCET and UGET, while admissions to the PG courses are through PGCET. The college has separate training and placement cells. Infosys, TCS, Dell, HCL, HP, etc., are among the top recruiters.

The college provides B.E Degree under 9 specializations of 4 years each. The details of which are given as below:

SSIT B.E/ B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must pass in 2nd PUC/12th Std/equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with English as one of the languages and obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biology/ Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics.
In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka SC/ST and other backward classes (Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B), the minimum marks for eligibility will be 40% in aggregate in optional subjects in qualifying examination.

Selection Criteria

Selection for BE /B.Tech will be done on the basis of UGET / KCET Entrance test.

With the emailed username and password, log in and fill the application form.
Upload the required documents.
Select the preferred test centre.
Pay the application fee.
Submit the form.

The steps to apply for PGCET are:

Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET and complete the registration process.
Login into the account using the credentials provided and fill in the application form.
Upload the required documents.
Accept the declaration and submit the form.
Pay the application fee of INR 650.
