Important Updates for SCET

SCET Surat BE admission 2024 is based on the GUJCET exam. The GUJCET exam 2024 dates are out. The application form is scheduled to be released in February 2024. The exam will take place on April 02, 2024.
SCET Surat ME Admissions are based on the GATE 2024 score. The registration process for GATE is over and the admit card will be released on January 03 onwards. GATE 2024 will occur on 03, 04, and 10, 11 February 2024.

Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET), is located in the city of Surat, Gujarat. The college offers degree courses of B.E, M.E and MCA. All programs are affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU).

Candidates desirous of pursuing B.E must apply through GUJCET scores and 10+2 merit.
Those who wish to get enrolled in the M.E program must have a valid GATE score and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
MCA candidates must have appeared in GCET and must possess a graduate degree.
The admissions are centralized and carried out through web based online admission process and candidates have to register online to become eligible for admission.

SCET Surat B.E & Lateral Entry Admission 2023

Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) offers four-year degree program of B.E in 8 specializations. Aspiring candidates must have appeared for GUJCET conducted by Government of Gujarat to become eligible for the admission.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science stream by securing minimum 45% in three Science subjects from GSEB or CBSE/ISCE. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects qualify as optional subjects.

Key points:

85% seats under B.E are filled through centralized counselling while remaining 15% seats are filled under management quota.
Based on the merit of 10+2 and GUJCET (in 60:40 proportion), a common merit list is prepared by Admission Committee for Professional courses (ACPC), accordingly, admissions are processed.
For Lateral Entry, candidates need to hold Diploma degree from a university or institution located in Gujarat and approved by AICTE with minimum 45% marks or equivalent CGPA in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology. Reserve category candidates need minimum 40% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Management quota candidates need to apply separately for admissions through institute level counselling.

SCET Surat M.E Admission 2023

SCET runs two-year degree program of M.E in five specializations. Eligible candidates are admitted based on their GATE scores through the centralized admissions process. Non GATE candidates need to appear for PGCET 2021 for getting eligible for admission.

Candidates must have passed B.E./B.Tech or equivalent examination with 50% marks in the qualifying exam in relevant discipline of engineering. A valid GATE or PGCET score is compulsory.

Note: Candidates who are waiting for their final semester results or result of any backlog in the previous semester can apply provided they pass a qualifying examination.

SCET Surat MCA Admission 2023

The college MCA with an intake of 60 students. Admissions are centralized one carried out on the basis of CMAT scores of the current academic year.

Candidate must qualify graduation examination with minimum 50% marks. They must also pass 10+2 pattern with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects.

SCET Surat Application Process 2022

As admissions to these courses are centralized, candidates have to apply to the ACPC in their prescribed forms. Candidates can also avail information booklet and PIN from registered help centers. The following application fee has to be paid in cash at designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank.

BE - INR 350, ME - INR 1000 and MCA - INR 500
After online registration, print-out of the registration form and self-attested photo copies of the required documents have to be submitted at nearby help center within the given time period.
Thereafter, eligible candidates are required to participate in the choice filling and remaining admission process.

Lateral Entry - Application forms are made available at L.D. College of Ahmedabad after the results of the diploma are announced.

The application process for Management Quota can be completed by adhering to the following steps:

Applicants have to pay INR 350 in Axis Bank Ltd. situated at Ghod Dod Road, Opp. St. Xavier’s School, Surat. The requisite fee has to be deposited in A/c No. 047010100025540 with the name “Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology” to be written on bank slip.
All forms have to be submitted by hand in the college office during working hours.
