To be eligible for the B.Tech/B.Pharm. program, the candidates must have passed intermediate examination of UP Board or 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board or university securing:

(i) 45% (40% for Sc/ST) marks in total of required subject combination (compulsory & optional) and

(ii) 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in each compulsory and optional subject of this combination.

Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry

Candidates must have passed 3-years Diploma in Engineering course securing 60% marks in aggregate or 3-years B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as compulsory subject with 60% marks in aggregate and 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in Mathematics to be eligible for B.Tech Lateral entry.

Saroj Institute of Technology and Management B.Tech Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for admissions to B.Tech courses is as follows:

Candidates are required to appear in the UPSEE entrance exam.
Candidates need to obtain a valid score in this exam.
On the basis of performance in the entrance exam, a merit list will be announced.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear in the UPSEE Counselling process.
During this counselling, candidates have to register online, upload their documents and pay the counselling fee.
Upon successful document verification, candidates will receive and OTP for choice filling.
Candidates need to fill maximum choice of course and college (SITM) as per their preference.
On the basis of choices filled, merit secured and availability of seats, candidates will be allotted a seat.
Students need to select either of the options from Freeze, Float or Withdrawal.
After this selection, candidates need to report at the allotted college along with their documents for further admission formalities.
