SCAD College of Engineering and Technology (SCADCET), Tirunelveli was established in 2001 under SCAD Educational Trust. It is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and recognised by UGC under section 2(f) & 12(b) of UGC Act. It is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute. The vision of the college is to create innovative and vibrant young leaders and entrepreneurs in engineering and technology, for building the nation as a knowledge superpower and empowering the rural community towards evolving a knowledge society with equity and amity. The mission of the college is to provide education in engineering with excellence and ethics and to reach the unreached.

Computer Lab

The institute has a state of the art computer lab with 300 Pentium PC’s, which are well equipped with latest softwares and configurations.

The institute has fully furnished & air condition library which has a collection of 28200 title, reference and volumes of books. It subscribes to 234 printed national & international journals.
