Eligibility Criteria

The candidate having recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with
Mathematics at 10+2 or at Graduate level with at least 50% marks in aggregate from recognized
University. (45% in case of reserve category of Rajasthan domicile)
Candidates having degree of BCA/ B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science) were exempted from
having Mathematics subject in class 12th or graduation as per the Govt. letter No. 20(1) T.E./2011 dated May 10th 2018.

The Candidate having recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA/
B.Sc. (IT/ Computer Science) with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 or at Graduation level with
at least 50 % marks in aggregate (45 % in case of reserve category of Rajasthan domicile).
RMCAAP 2019 is open to all Indian citizens but preference will be given to the candidates
of Rajasthan state domicile.

The Centre for Electronic Governance, Jaipur will conduct centralized counseling for admissions to B.Tech. 1^st year programme on the basis of JEE (Main) Exam-2022 rank and/or Class-12 Marks/ percentile.

If the candidates have not appeared in JEE (Main) Exam-2020, they need to apply on the basis of class-12 marks. Please note that JEE (Main) Exam-2020 rank will be given higher priority in comparison to class-12 marks/percentile.

Eligibility Criteria: The aspiring candidate must have passed class-12 (XII) or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks in the case of candidates belonging to SC / ST / Non Creamy Layer- OBC/ Non Creamy Layer- MBC of Rajasthan State only) in each subject (Physics, Maths and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Technical Vocational subject/ Biology) from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (BSER) and/or CBSE and/or any other recognized Board/ University.

Which university is better: Poornima University or RIET (Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology)?

Poornima University being a private institution has a very well structured and organized course. RIET on the other hand, is an engineering college affiliated with RTU and is not a university in itself.

Here are some facts that makes PU a better choice:

PU unlike RIET provides an updated academic curriculum which caters to the latest industrial trends.
The curriculum of RTU is becoming obsolete.
PU focuses more on practical training enhancing the students skills.
PU has a well experienced faculty, they are given proper training from industry leads during seminars and internships.
The placements of PU are much better than RIET.
The highest salary package of 37 LPA was offered by Google India to a PU student.
TCS, IBM, Wipro and Infosys take students during mass recruitments.
