RDEC offers admission to all of the courses through online as well as offline modes. The candidates can follow the below-listed steps to apply:

Online Mode:

1. Visit the official website of RD Engineering College and click on the ‘Admission’ tab.
2. Fill all the details such as academic details and respective entrance exam score (UPSEE/GATE/CAT or MAT).
3. Submit the duly filled application form and pay the application fee through Net-Banking or by Credit or Debit Card.
4. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification at the time of counselling.

Offline Mode:

1. Application forms can be obtained by visiting the institute’s campus in person.
2. The duly filled form should be submitted to the admission cell with the relevant documents.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about interview dates through Email or phone.
4. The candidates selected after this stage will need to deposit their first fee installment within the due time.

A candidate seeking admission in the MCA course should be a graduate of any Indian University or Foreign University or Institute recognized by the UPTU as equivalent thereto. The graduation should be with three years of regular study after passing 10 + 2 Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent of an approved Board with mathematics as a compulsory subject.

RDEC offers the M.Tech programme in Computer and Thermal Engineering. Both M.Tech programmes have 18 seats each. The admission is based on the GATE score or UPSEE which is followed by counselling. It also offers MBA and MCA programmes with 60 seats each.

Key points regarding M.Tech, MBA & MCA Admission:

• GATE/UPSEE scores have different ranking and validations according to different caste and minority categories. The candidates must represent themselves with respect to the category they are applying from. 
• The MBA programme has a total of 60 seats.
• The M.Tech programme has 36 seats altogether.
