In our college campus placement rates is good around 70 to 80 % students get placed during campus placements in college. For seating in placements in college you have to score good marks minimum 7or 7.5 CGPA in college during semester exams. Minimum 4 lakhs package are atleast provided to most students who do good while in college exams. Companies like Amazon, Tata, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Flipkart, Walmart, Paytm and many well recognised companies arrived at our college during placement season for hiring students. Highest package was around 12 lakhs rupees in previous year placement.

Among the above two institutes, LNCT Bhopal is a better choice than the Oriental Institute of Science & Technology, and the reasons supporting the choice are listed below.
- LNCT has a lot of discipline to be in the institute. During the initial days, this discipline will seem to be hectic but is sure to help the student for his/her development. It gives a sense of priority, makes the student hardworking, and teaches the importance of time.
- The institute follows the curriculum of the university strictly. The faculties in LNCT are excellent in both teaching engineering and giving life lessons to students. The institute has a world-class library.
- The management of LNCT is quite supportive, with no problems of partiality.
- LNCT has a big campus, entirely Wi-Fi zoned, where students get lots of opportunities to interact with each other. There is an excellent central canteen.
- There are several activities taking place throughout the year. The environment is said to have an entrepreneurship vision, where students can pitch their own ideas to make it better.
- LNCT has a very good placement record, with several internships offers from big MNCs.
Therefore, LNCT is definitely an excellent choice for engineering. Students make friends, enjoy their stay in an excellent environment, and pursue their dreams in their career from LNCT.
Both LNCT Bhopal and OIST Bhopal have gained a reputation among other engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Here are some of the reasons why.
- Both the institutes are among the oldest engineering colleges in Bhopal, and in light of this fact, the academic depth crucially slopes higher with respect to their age of establishment.
- In fact, the major upside both institutes boast is their infrastructure and faculty strength, unlike many other institutes.
- The placement reports, most essentially, are booming, regardless of present circumstances.
However, when compared there are no such differences between LNCT Bhopal and OIST Bhopal.
Pros of LNCT:
- LNCT Bhopal, recently, improved its disciplinary and management strategies. OIST Bhopal, on the other hand, also has its own management yet it is not as it used to be.
- The placements of LNCT have been better than OIST for the last few years now. The reason behind this is their TPO, who earlier was associated with Oriental. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 3.5 LPA, while the highest CTC offered was 21 LPA.
- However, in placement numbers, OIST still beats LNCT due to the mass recruitment of TCS.
Cons of LNCT:
- Regardless of their disciplinary actions, LNCT does mandate an attendance requirement until the final year, which is severely hard to maintain.
- It is quite transparent as to why students have a hard time preparing for exams like GATE or CAT.
- The technical and cultural fests are quite infrequent, as opposed to what is in OIST Bhopal. However, this is not as crucial as the other aspects of the institute.
Nonetheless, if you are opting between the both, LNCT Bhopal has an upper hand, even though by only a few pointers. But, given the scenario, there are no greatly noticeable differences between the two institutes, except only a few handfuls.
Having friends in both institutions, I can say that, to decide on a college and to pursue a particular college and course in life, you need to have a proper understanding of your needs and wants. To understand this, answer these three questions:
- Need to pursue the Engineering
- Engineering is a 4-year degree course.
- Investing 4 years in a particular domain is a commitment. And so is sticking with it.
- Pursuing another thing after engineering doesn't make any sense, then it would be a waste of 4 years.
- So, first, decide whether engineering is the right choice for you or not.
- Jobs
- If the job is the future, opt for any one of them.
- These colleges have a good name and placements. They also welcome many reputed companies for their on-campus placement.
- Oriental is better in terms of placement and infrastructure. It is one of the oldest colleges and has been completed for 21 years.
- They also conduct many cultural and technical events. So opt for oriental.
- Higher Studies
- If higher studies are your goal, then you should not go to any of these colleges as they need 75% attendance.
- To pursue higher studies after engineering from a prominent college you need to study hard and cannot entertain the attendance criteria.
