Candidates must have a passed 10+2 from a recognized board

NPTI Nagpur offers a four-year B Tech course in Power Engineering. To be eligible, a candidate should have at least 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For selection, they must take the MHT- CET.

Note:

• 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates in eligibility criteria.
• Students belonging to Maharashtra have to take the MHT- CET.
• 15% of the seats are filled at the national level.
• 20% and 65% of the seats are filled through Management quota and CAP respectively.
• For state level seats, only those who have passed HSC from Maharashtra will be taken into consideration.

How to Apply for B.Tech/BE at NPTI Nagpur?

Candidates enrolling for B Tech course have to sit the MHT- CET. For filling the application form, follow the steps given below:

• Fill out the online application form at DTE website.
• Upload scanned copies of necessary papers.
• A fee of 800 INR (600 INR for reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Keep a print of the form for verification.

Candidates also have to sit for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). For this, they have to follow the given steps:

• Register for the application form and obtain Login ID from DTE website, Maharashtra.
• Fill out the online application form for CAP.
• A fee of 1,000 INR will be charged (800 INR for reserved candidates). It is to be paid online.

The following documents will be required:

• SSC and HSC mark sheet
• Graduation mark sheet
• Entrance mark sheet
• School leaving certificate
• Migration certificate and gap certificate, if applicable
• Certificate of nationality
• Domicile/ birth/ leaving certificate (for candidates seeking home state quota)
• Caste certificate, if applicable

Note: Applications will only be accepted after applicants submit hard copies of the form with relevant documents at facilitation centres.
