Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering (BMCE), Kollam was established in 2002., the self- financing Engineering College. The BMCE is named after its founder, the late H H Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews II, the sixth Catholicons of the East and the Malankara Metropolitan of Malankara Orthodox Church. The renowned college is managed by Dr. C T Eapen Trust under Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.

Festivals:
- Aura- It is the annual technical fest of the college. The events in the fest have been designed in such a way that they can judge the students’ mental aptitude as well as their technical knowhow, a student’s knowledge on a particular topic as well as his oratory skill will be assessed
- Malhar- The annual cultural fest of the college. It covers the cultural events like singing, dancing, etc
- Olympia- It is the annual sports festival of the college
