Want good government engineering college in low jee rank

What I Liked

Infrastructure is quite good and well maintained.
The faculties are very helpfull and knowledgeable.
College will help you in internship or job placement .

What I didn’t like

College campus area is quite small compared to other government engineering college.
Message quality is average. Sometimes message food is very bad .
Not that much sports exposure as you expect.

Placement Experience:

This year highest placement was 13.5 lpa which was PPO . The average package was 9.5 lpa which was given to 55 student and many more. This year placement rate was 100 percent in which 114 got placed out of 120 students.

Internships Opportunities:

College will help you get internship in college or outside college if you make your good relationship with professor or senior or super senior. There are many projects going in college you just have to ask your hod or favourite faculty to join you .

NIAMT RANCHI Overview

What I Liked

The hostel rooms are quite spacious, hostel rooms are well maintained
wifi of our campus is faster than any other institutes.
The professors of our college are very helpful and kind in nature, with some exceptions.

What I didn’t like

The academics staff are sometimes acts wierdly.

Placement Experience:

students in their last year are eligible to seat in campus placement i.e. 4th year . There are various companies that visit our institutes and all these are premier companies like JSW, Sona comstar, Maruti Suzuki etc. almost every student gets placement and average placement is about 8 lpa.

Which is better, an MME at NIFFT, Ranchi, or CSE at IET, Lucknow?

It is entirely up to you to decide what you wish to study, as CSE and MME are two quite different courses.

If you don't care about the branch and only care about the brand and placement, MME at NIFFT Ranchi is the way to go because the placement scenario is good with huge firms like TATA Motors, KPMG, FIITJEE, and others visiting campus every year. According to the recent placement statistics the average CTC offered at the placement drive is 4.50 LPA.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to appear in GATE, and NIFFT has a reputation for delivering single-digit ranks every year.

In the end, I would suggest you talk to seniors to get a clear picture. Only then make any decision.
