Modi Institute of Technology (MIT) was established in 2001. It is located in Kota, Rajasthan and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU). Modi Institute of Technology offers B.Tech and M.Tech programs in various disciplines at UG and PG level.
- Candidates applying for B.Tech course must have passed class 12th or any equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology and should have secured minimum aggregate marks of 45% (40% for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects.
- Candidates applying for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) program should have passed a Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with minimum aggregate marks of 45% (40% for reserved category candidates) in the relevant branch.
- Alternatively, the candidates with a B.Sc. degree from a recognized institution with minimum aggregate marks of 45% (40% for reserved category candidates) and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12th are also eligible to apply for B.Tech (LE).
- Admission to B.Tech course is done on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main followed by counselling conducted by Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP).
- M.Tech course requires a Centralized Admission Procedure (CAM) on the basis of marks secured in GATE.
