Marthandam College of Engineering and Technology offers Bachelor in Engineering program in five disciplines and B.Tech course in Information Technology. The minimum eligibility for BE/ B.Tech course is 

• Pass in Higher Secondary Course with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or
• Pass in Higher Secondary Course (Vocational) in Engineering / Technology in one of the related subjects with Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry.

Candidates having Diploma in relevant discipline of Engineering are eligible for 2nd year admission to second-year of B.E/B.Tech. Admissions to BE/ B.Tech courses are provided on the basis of the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination.
