I have friends from both UIT RGPV Bhopal and MITS Gwalior, so I think I can give you some information about the institutes. Here are the placement highlights for UIT RGPV and MITS Gwalior. So if you are to choose either of the two, then you can choose based on the distance between them and your hometown. Choose one in which you live or one that is close to your hometown. Going too far from your hometown won’t be worth your money, time, and efforts.You will eventually acknowledge this by the end of the four years of your B.tech degree.

All of the colleges that you have mentioned are great institutes. But it would be suggested that you opt for LNCT Bhopal.  It offers more opportunities to the students and initiates programs to help students enhance their skills. The faculty here is well-experienced and very cooperative. Although there is a pressure of maintaining 75% attendance, it all works out for the benefit of the students.  If you do not have a better option other than LNCT Bhopal, then you should opt for it.

CSE from Amity University Gwalior is the best option among these. The curriculum is perfectly based and puts equal emphasis on theory, practical, and project-based learning. The coursework helps develop analytical thinking, problem solving, design, and research skills. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Deep Learning, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, Embedded Systems, etc. are the interest areas for the department. The course content is delivered through interactive lectures, case study discussions, laboratory exercises, surveys, and project works.  Around 100% of the students from CSE branch get placed with an average CTC of INR 6 LPA. The highest CTC offered was INR 26 LPA. Cognizant, Hitachi, TCS, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive.

MITS is better than Amity. It is a government-aided institute with a huge alumni base. The alumni of the institute are working in top places across the globe. MITS placements are better than Amity. Around 70% of students get placed through campus drive each year. The average package received by the students of MITS is around INR 6 LPA. TCS, Amazon, etc. are some of the top recruiters to take part in the campus drive.

For those who hold a keen interest in Computers and it’s overall understanding are highly suggested to opt for CSE while for those who are interested in an in-depth study of telecommunication can go for ET. ET at IET DAVV stands apart and is way better than CSE at MITS any day and the facts will tell you the same too. Campus IET DAVV stands apart when it comes to the campus environment. The College conducts so many events, namely - Engineer’s Day, Welcome Party, Invento, etc. If you want to pursue higher studies, Indore is a better option than Gwalior as it has various coaching institutes. IET DAVV is better than MITS in terms of extracurricular activities, events as well as college life. Curriculum: One should not worry much about the rules and regulations if you are in IET DAVV, provided you maintain the minimum amount of attendance required. IET DAVV is well known and renowned for its annual cultural fest, Aakshank. Many celebrities like Kailash Kher, Papon, DJ Willy, etc., have visited over the past years whereas MIT has only one annual function every year for its students. Course Structure: IET DAVV provides relaxation in attendance from the fifth to eighth semester to allow its students to join various competitive exams coaching, unlike any other institute. Also, MITS is a NAAC Grade B++ University while IET DAVV is a NAAC Grade A+ University. Therefore, IET DAVV has an upper hand any day. MITS Gwalior is a better option for CS. Compared to UIT, it offers better academics and placements. Top recruiters for CS students through MITS Gwalior placement are Infosys, TCS Ninja, L&T Infotech, Lido Learning, etc. Around 75% of students get placed from the branch every year. The average CTC for the branch is around INR 5 LPA.  Reputed coachings like Career Launcher, T.I.M.E, Engineers Circle, etc. are located near MITS. So, it’s easier to prepare for competitive examinations as well. 

Manipal University Jaipur is a private institution that started in 2011 and offers 78 courses across 15 streams popularly in Engineering, Architecture, Arts, and Management. It has been ranked at 64 for Universities by The Week in 2019. MITS Gwalior is an autonomous government institution that offers 45 courses across 4 streams and is known for its BE/BTech and MCA programs. It has two academic buildings, a learning resource centre, well-equipped hostels, modern practical labs, cafeterias, and a computer centre. Faculty: Manipal University Jaipur: The University employs over 450+ faculty members who are all professionals with years of academic expertise in their field of teaching. MITS Gwalior: The faculty members are well qualified and offer to help students with doubts and queries regarding the curriculum. Some faculty members have been part of esteemed institutions like ISRO, DRDO, and BARC. Placements: Manipal University Jaipur: The university recorded a total of 70% placement rate in the recent placement drive. Students received the highest package of 42 LPA from top recruited companies. Some of the companies that visited the campus include Accenture, American Express, Amazon, Goldman Sachs. Students can make a well-informed decision regarding which university they want to choose based on the factors mentioned above.

JEE MAINS 2023 cutoff at MITS Gwalior for Computer Science Engineering is 69794. To be honest your rank of 135000 is not at par with the requirements and your chances of getting admission are very poor. Anyone who wants to take CSE MITS Gwalior should have a rank of around 60-70k. Your rank is out of limits and has zero chances unless you belong to SC or ST Category.  My advice to you would be to go for IT instead which might be possible with your rank. Stay at the top throughout the first year and then request a branch change since there will be 2–3 vacancies in CSE after one year. Even if you fail to get into CSE, you can stay there and avail similar benefits. The placement and curriculum are almost the same with the only difference being in fees and some subjects in the final year. So unless you belong to a reserved category, your chances of getting into CSE at MITS Gwalior are less than 50%.
