The admission eligibility criteria are as follows –
Domicile Rule
B.Tech. aspirants from Uttar Pradesh and outside UP can apply for JEE Main examination and are eligible for B.Tech. admission in Uttar Pradesh. However, outside UP domicile students are not eligible for the B.Tech. seat in engineering colleges across the state. The reservation policy of state government for B.Tech. admissions and Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme is applicable to UP domicile students only. Outside the UP domicile, students are not eligible for the fee waiver scheme.
Academic Requirements
The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P.Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be as follows:-
Compulsory Subjects: Physics and Mathematics
Optional Subjects (Any one of the following Subjects) – Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
For admission to the first year of B.Tech candidate must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University and secure minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in required each compulsory subjects and one optional subject taken together as given above.
