Lourdes Matha Catholic Educational Society in 2002 in Thiruvananthapuram. The Institute has been approved by Govt. of Kerala and AICTE. Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology offers various UG and PG courses namely B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and MBA.

The minimum eligibility to apply for B.Tech. Course is 45% marks in 10+2 examination or equivalent with PCM/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science as subjects.
Applicants to M.Tech. Course must hold B.Tech. or B.E. degree with at least 60% marks.
MCA course is open for candidates with 3-year graduate degree in any field with Mathematics/ Statistics as their subject with at least 50% in aggregate.
While for MBA Courses, candidate must pass CAT/ CMAT or KMAT Kerala Entrance exam with a valid score
For B.Tech., M.Tech., MCA courses 50% of the seats are filled on basis of Entrance Test Score and remaining 50% seats are filled through Management Quota.

LMCST offers admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics through KEAM or Kerala CEE score to the eligible students. The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in this course requires candidates to have scored a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science as the core subjects.

There is a relaxation of 5% marks in the aggregate scores for candidates belonging to the SEBC category if their annual income is less than 6 lakhs per annum. There is no minimum percentage bar for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category.

Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology M.Tech. Admission 2023

LMCST offers M.Tech in Computer Science, Applied Engineering and Instrumentation (ECE) , Control Systems (EEE). The total intake is 18 students for each specialization. Candidates who hold AICTE approved graduate degree in B.Tech. or B.E. with at least 60% marks are eligible to apply for M.Tech. Students should have valid GATE score to apply. Admission to these M.Tech. program will be through counselling by DTE, Kerala based on valid GATE score.

Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology MBA and MCA Admission 2023

LMCST offers MCA program and MBA in Human Resource, Marketing, Finance, Operations, International Business, Information Systems to eligible candidates. To be eligible to apply, candidates should have 3-year graduate degree in any field with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. For MCA, it is compulsory to have Mathematics/ Statistics as subject in 10+2 or graduation.

Final selection of MBA applicants is based upon the scores obtained in CAT, CMAT or KMAT entrance exam followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. 80% weightage will be given to entrance score and 10% each to GD and PI. MCA selection will be based on Kerala MCA Entrance Test. If there are insufficient candidates with entrance score, admission will be merit based on qualifying exam.

Government fees for the rank holders up to INR 10,000 in KEAM.
50% concession in fees, to the rank holders up to INR 15,000 in Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination.
Scholarship of INR 10,000 for ME/ CS/ CE and INR 20,000 for EC, to the rank holders up to 40,000 in KEAM.

Remarks:

The admission process is really very easy and good. Students who have good KEAM rank can get some reduction in fees. The eligibility is 10 and +2. The lecturers there are really friendly to talk.
