Krupajal Engineering College, Bhubaneswar, also called KEC is an engineering institution in the Eastern Zone of Odisha, which was established in 1995 under the Krupajal Group of institutions. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha and accredited by NBA & NAAC.

The college offers several undergraduate, postgraduate and Diploma courses in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Business Admission, Computer Application etc.

The students are admitted to the B.Tech programme through the JEE National level entrance test. There is provision of Lateral Entry of 10% of sanctioned intake for Diploma holders directly to the 3rd semester as per the BPUT guidelines. The students for post graduation courses in M.Tech are admitted through GATE Score. Admission to the MBA, MCA and PGDM courses are done on the basis of merit in MAT/CAT/XAT/OJEE or ATMA.

At undergraduate level, the college offers Bachelor of Technology degree under six different specialization subjects. All the B.Tech courses are of a duration period of four years. The college also accepts B.Tech degree under lateral entry.

Aspiring candidates need to pass the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and must have obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects.

Krupajal Engineering College M.Tech Admission 2023

The college offers Master of Technology degree at postgraduate level with the duration period of two years. The M.Tech programme is offered under five different specializations. The intake capacity of each of the specialization course is 18 seats.

Admission to the course is done on the basis of marks scored in PGAT. This is only done if there are vacant seats after the counselling is done through GATE (General Aptitude Test in Engineering). However, candidates need to have studied and passed Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline and secure at least 60% marks in the Bachelor’s degree level.

At postgraduate level, the college also offers degree courses in the fields of Business Administration and Computer Application and diploma course in Management field.

For the MCA programme, candidates will be selected from Odisha JEE merit list during counseling by OJEE
In order to seek admission to the MBA course, students will have to sit for an entrance exam such as MAT/CAT/XAT/OJEE or ATMA
Candidates applying for the PGDM programme will be shortlisted based on their score on CAT/MAT/XAT/OJEE. The short listed candidates will be called for an GD & PI which will be held at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Ranchi, Patna and Jamshedpur
