Konark Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) was established in 2001 by Vidya Sagar Charitable Trust. It is the first venture of the Hi-Tech Group of Educational Institutions. The college is located at Jatni in a lush green atmosphere with a sprawling campus of 35 acres. Festivals

Technovation-2011: It is annual tech-fest, KIST organized an inter college robotics football championship which is first ever event in its kind in Orissa.
