The School of Engineering & Technology offers admission to B.Tech program in five specializations.

Minimum eligibility for this course is 10+2 examination (Academic/ Vocational) or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and minimum 50% marks. Admission to this course is done through TNEA counselling conducted on the basis of merit as per marks obtained by candidates in 10+2 qualifying examination. The counselling is conducted by Anna University.

Candidates interested in pursuing Post Graduation can opt for M.Tech and MBA program offered under various specializations.

For M.Tech, candidate need to pass in B.E. / B.Tech in relevant specializations with minimum 50% marks or B.Pharm degree. The minimum eligibility for MBA is Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks.

The selection of candidates to both the courses is made on the basis of ranks or marks secured in TANCET conducted by Anna University. However, if candidate has appeared for GATE exam, they are not required to appear in TANCET exam respectively.

Key Points:

Candidates belonging to reserved category shall be relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility criteria.
Those appearing in their final year examination are also eligible to appear in TANCET.
