What should I take, IT in MAIT (IPU) or CSE in BVP, MSIT? I have a great interest in programming and my home is near to MSIT and BVP.

● Top Answer By Suchandra Jha on 05 Jul 21

Ans
Speaking about IT and CSE, both are almost the same with some changes in their base subjects. Some of my friends graduated with IT and CSE degrees. According to them, apart from the first and second year, it’s the same. There are more languages in CSE. In this case, your choice should depend on the college statistics and the placements. Your entire future is decided by this decision so consider the college and then the course properly. Keep the course as your first preference and the college as the second. The course of your choice will keep you more focused and keep you more determined. In today’s world CSE has more value than any other subject whether it’s on or off-campus. It’s always in high demand and will stay for a very long time. A close senior was from the ECE branch in MSIT and she got placed in HSBC with a package of 12 LPA as a software developer. Companies recruit from some particular branches which are in more demand than others and also the core branches. Your choice of subject will prove more beneficial than your college. Categories IT at MAIT CSE in BVP CSE in MSIT Course Fee 4.69 lakh 5.04 lakh 4.69 lakh Highest CTC 31 LPA 34 LPA 18 LPA Average CTC 10 LPA 18.5 LPA 8-10 LPA Recruiting Companies Dell, Wipro, etc. Infosys, Capgemini, etc. ZS Associates, Adobe, etc. If you are interested in programming so the college best for this would be in the order: - MAIT: - It is the best among the given options with better placements stats, faculties, recognition, and better networks with the industry. BVP: - BVP is also a well-known institute for CSE and IT. It also has good stats of record placements. MSIT: - It is good in terms of faculty. When talking about placements it has a steady placement record. Infrastructure and Facilities wise, MAIT has well-equipped labs with all the modern technologies and a large campus. BVP has a good Campus which is situated right near the metro station at a distance of 15 meters which makes for better communication. MSIT comes 3rd when it comes to infrastructure.

Is Bharati Vidyapeeth University good for chemical engineering (Pune)?

● Top Answer By Shreyashi Ghosh on 23 Jul 21

Ans
One of my friends is an alumnus of this college, and as per her experience, I would give some insights about chemical engineering from BVP. The institute is decent, but it depends on different factors to decide if it is best for you. For the placements, BVP lacks opportunities in the core chemical branch. In the previous year, very few companies came for recruitment. It is better not to keep your hopes high for lucrative packages or core jobs. The placement details of the college are below. Average Package INR 6.5 LPA Highest Package INR 18 LPA Tuition Fee INR 4.8 Lakhs The scope of chemical engineering is limited in BVP. It is suggested you do not go for it, instead choose CSE or IT, which have a huge demand.
