Likes

The faculty members are experienced and have a good learning experience
The overall experience is good hostel life is very good as there is no ragging
The campus is totally eco-friendly like it is surrounded with trees everywhere you can find greenery and it's really good for health and a good mood.

Dislikes

The college is far from my home so going there on the first day for admission was a little bit difficult.
Washrooms are not good in the hostel they don't clean the hostel washrooms properly
Actually the admission process was very simple but the administrative staff was kind of rude.

Roots of GCET JAMMU

What I Liked

The area of the college. Very peaceful place with full greenery.

What I didn’t like

Lack of sports events and other curriculum activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

They need to upgrade their labs and the appratus. Many times, using any apparatus is already broke or wires of the appratus is cracked . Many times ,students get a shock due to the cracked wire. And also need to maintain their grounds for the sports and need to improve the washrooms

Remarks:

As this college is near my village so the problem of hostel is over , i have applied of many other colleges but this is the best option for me . It is very easy for me to do up-down from the college. And the area of college is also very good .

What I Liked

Cooperative teachers and hostel incharge also
Lab classes also good and well maintained
Washroom also good maintained and library also good

What I didn’t like

Too much syllabus is there and canteen is also not godd
Reaaaper fee is too high and the normal student camd afford this fee
One subject reaaper fee is 2370 rupee andore than one is 2740

For brilliant students gcet is good

What I Liked

Teaching methods by faculty is good and also canteen is good and bank has its own bank
Sports facility in gcet is good by faculty sports has good help students in all games and sports in Jammu University
College is provide hostel for students and also girls hostel should open soon

What I didn’t like

I never like the college place where college is located
College is in the forest areas there is no local transport
College has not repaired their classrooms in that the

There is 7 sem is eligible for placement many reputed company will come here and select the students for placements 8 above cgp is good but you have any skill is helpful for company they need skills not knowledge

First we give the exam of jk boope which is test for take in gcet jammu and jkcet will conduct these exams after you pass tha exam the you will go to tha jkboope office in Jammu bahuplaza then counseling start ther is 3 round of counselling

When it comes to the cut off for getting admission in GCET Jammu, then it all depends on branches and your choices. For example - if you want to get enrolled in Civil branch in GCET then you need to score at least a rank under 200-210. On the other hand, there are branches in which you can take admission even when under 1000 rank.

Mentioned below is the list of cut off which will definitely help you get the preferred rank for one of your favorite branches.
