Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology accepts BTech admissions based on COMEDK- UGET 2024/ KCET Score followed by centralized counselling. The application process for COMEDK- UGET 2024 will start from February 01 and the entrance test is scheduled on May 12, 2024. KCET applications will also start from January 10, 2024 and the entrance exam will be conducted on April 20 & 21, 2024 in offline pen & paper mode


Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is an autonomous public institute affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has been ranked 163rd by NIRF in its engineering college ranking. It has also been approved by the AICTE and accredited by NBA and NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. The institute boasts of an erudite, experienced faculty who number 266, including 87 PhD holders.

AIT Bangalore offers 36 specializations across five courses: B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and PhD. Candidates interested in applying for B.Tech should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English with 45% marks. For selection they have to take the KCET or the COMEDK UGET for selection.

For admission to M.Tech, the candidate must have a B.Tech degree with 50% marks. For selection, they have to take the GATE.

For MBA candidates a Bachelor’s degree in any field is required with 50% marks. For MCA, in addition to that, the candidate should have studied Mathematics as a main subject in 10+2 or as an ancillary in college. In both cases, for selection, the candidates must appear in the Karnataka PGCET.

For PhD, aspiring candidates should have a Masters degree with 50% marks in the relevant subject. They have to take the GATE, UGC-NET or CSIR-NET for selection.

AIT Bangalore has an average placement record. In 2019, 56+ companies visited the campus, recruiting 455+ students.   • On the login page, enter the user ID, password, security code and click on the ‘login’ button to apply for the examination

  • Upload your your photograph, signature, left thumb impression and guardian’s signature
  • Review the form and make changes if required
  • Submit the form
  • A fee of 500 INR (750 INR for candidates from outside Karnataka) will be charged. It is to be paid online.

  • Fill all the details required in the registration along with mobile number and email ID.
  • After successful registration, you will receive a unique email ID and password on your registered mobile number and email ID.
  • Fill out the form.
  • Upload recent colour a photograph (30mm X 45mm) in JPEG format, not larger than 80 KB. The same in the case of the signature that you upload.
  • Also upload a signature of guardian and Unique ID Proof in 80 KB and 150 KB, respectively.
  • Pay a fee of 2,600 INR online.
  • Before submitting, preview your COMEDK UGET 2021 application form.

Counselling:

Candidates who have a positive COMEDK UGET score have to go for counselling. The registration process is described below:

  • Enter your COMEDK login details in the applicant login ID.

Candidates who are eligible for admission to MBA or MCA have to take the PGCET. The registration process for it is given below:

  • Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET.
  • Go to ‘New User? Register here’.
  • Fill out the required details such as Name, Gender, Contact details, etc.
  • You will receive a user ID and password on the email ID and mobile number provided by them.
  • Login to the account.
  • Fill out the form
  • Click on ‘Save’
  • Click on next. A declaration page will appear. Read it and submit the form.
  • Upload scanned images of photograph, signature, and left hand thumb impression.
  • Pay a fee of 650 INR offline to any branch of the specified bank. Candidates will be given two copies of the challan after the payment is completed. The bank itself will retain one copy. Retain proof of the payment for future reference.

Remarks:

I just joined this college through KCET counseling. During the second round of kcet counseling, I got into this college. At the beginning of the admission process, they give us a format application to fill out and ask for the required documents after they were verified, I got a reference id number and a temporary id card. No improvement is needed the college is too good.

One can join the institute through KCET, COMED-K, and management quota. You can find the details about the application form, and application fees on the website Dr ait.co.in. The management has many experienced lecturers and professors. The admission process went smoothly without any problems.

I have joined Comedk, application form is available on comedk website. Application fees are more than 1000, the application form is available in march or April. Eligibility is a minimum of 45% in class 12.

Admission Process AIT: The primary eligibility criteria is a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2. The final selection of the candidates depends on the KCET/COMEDK UGET test scores. It is a private college and the institute has 14 research centers, 10 undergraduate programs, and 11 postgraduate programs. The college is UGC and NAAC approved. Initially, when the college started it only had three courses i.e. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering course, CSE is one of the oldest courses in this college. The faculty and the department are well-qualified and have years of experience in teaching. Admission: The candidate should have passed class 12th with at least 45% of marks with any recognized board. The candidate should also appear for the KCET Examination or COMEDK UGET in order to seek admission for BE CSE. In 2019 the required cutoff for CSE was 6953(KCET), and 26777(COMEDK UGET). Faculty: Teachers who are in college are highly qualified. They have immense knowledge about the course. Most of the faculty members have their PhDs and are well-experienced. The college classes are interactive and there are frequent seminars held so that students can learn effectively. Placements: In the academic year 2020, 34 companies visited the campus, and the students received around 503 job offers.
