Don Bosco Institute of Technology offers postgraduate program in Master of Technology (M.Tech) with multiple specializations. The duration of the M.Tech program is two academic years consisting of four semesters. The intake capacity for each of the specializations varies for different disciplines. The program is offered in the following specializations:
- Computer Science Engineering
- Machine Design
- Electrical Power Systems
- Digital Electronics
Don Bosco Institute of Technology offers 60 seats in each of the above mentioned specializations.
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed the prescribed qualifying examination with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examination.
DBIT Bangalore M.Tech Selection Criteria:
- There shall be entrance examination for PG Programs from the Karnataka Examination Authority and candidates qualified for the admission through the Entrance examination or qualified for admission under GATE and issued an admission order from KEA are eligible for the admission to M.Tech.

Before downloading the application form the candidate must check the qualification necessary for entrance tests according to the program they are applying for. Students must follow the below steps :-

- Click on ‘Apply Online’ option under ‘Quick Links’.
- Download the form and fill in the relevant details.
- Submit the form with the relevant documents.
Documents Required
- SSLC or 10th Standard or its equivalent marks card (Original).
- PUC or +2 marks card (Original), B.E four years marks card (original) and Degree Certificate (PDC) original.
- PGCET Score Card(Original)
- Provisional Degree certificate (Original)
- Study certificate (Original)
- Caste certificate, Income certificate, Transfer Certificate (Original)
- Migration certificate for the Non-Karnataka students and CBSE/ICSE Students (Original)
- Adhar Card (2 Photo Copies)
- Physical fitness certificate from any Regd. Medical Practitioner (Original)
- Three Passport size color photographs.
- The students belonging to SC/ST and other categories should submit photo copies of caste certificate, income certificate while applying for students scholarships
