At Undergraduate level, AIEMD offers B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry in various specializations. The intake capacity for each of the specializations vary as per the courses.

Candidates must have completed his / her 10+2 level or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and scored 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible.

Selection is done on the basis of valid score in JEE Main or WBJEE. Admission to B.Tech Lateral is done on the basis of marks scored in Joint Entrance Examination Lateral Entry (JELET) conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).

Note: 90% of the total seats are filled through WBJEE. The remaining 10% of the seats are filled through JEE Main. If any vacant seats are left over, then those are filled by the intake of candidates through direct admission.

Apart from Technical courses, the college also offers BBA (H), BCA (H) and BBM (H) at the UG level. The intake capacity for BBA, BCA and BBM are 60 seats, 60 seats and 30 seats respectively.

Candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 level or equivalent. Those students are eligible who have successfully completed their 10+2 level in the relevant discipline.

At the PG level, the college offers M.Tech and MBA with an intake capacity of 18 seats and 60 seats respectively. Candidates who have passed BE / B.Tech in the relevant courses are eligible to seek admission in the M.Tech program. For MBA, a Bachelor’s degree in any field is required to be eligible.

Selection in M.Tech will be done on the basis of a valid score in GATE. Admission in MBA will be done on the basis of valid score in CMAT, MAT or JEMAT. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a Group Discussion and personal interview conducted by the college. Based on the final scores, selection of the aspirants is done.
