Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management Sciences (AIeMS) is a premier college established by the B.V.V Sangha in Bidadi, Karnataka. The institute is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.
Amruta Institute of Engineering and Management offers B.E. program in four specializations, Diploma program in two specializations and MBA program in three specializations.
- Candidates must obtain at least 45% marks in 10+2/PUC examinations with Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects for admission to B.E courses and Diploma courses.
- Diploma candidates who have secured at least 45% in the relevant technical/engineering discipline are eligible for admission to B.E 2nd year under the lateral entry.
- SC, ST and OBC candidates must secure at least 40% marks in PUC exams with Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program must secure at least 50% (45% for reserved category) marks in graduation exam.
- Eligible candidates applying for B.E courses must appear for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or COMEDK entrance examination followed by counselling conducted by the state government.
- For admission to MBA, applicants must appear for the Karnataka PGCET entrance examination.
- Candidates are also granted admission under Management Quota (50% for MBA and 25% for B.E) to the Engineering and MBA programs.
- Admission to Diploma program is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
