AIT offers  4-years B.E program with specializations in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. Applicants must have completed two years Pre University Course by Karnataka State Education Board or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

For admissions, candidates must have appeared either for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or JEE Main to be eligible for university-level counselling.

• SC/ ST applicants must have secured 40% marks in the qualifying examinations.

Akshaya Institute of Technology offers two years post-graduate program for candidates who have completed or are in final year of B.E/ B.Tech courses. Applicants must have secured minimum 50%  aggregate marks in all semesters at qualifying degree level. The university conducts counselling rounds for those who have a valid rank in PGCET conducted by KEA.

• Candidates who have cleared Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) are exempted from the entrance test.
• The university gives preference to the students who hold Karnataka domicile certificate.
• Sponsored candidates can claim seats only under sponsored quota.

AIT offers three years Diploma courses in Engineering for candidates who have passed Senior Secondary Examinations in Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. They must have secured minimum 35% aggregate marks to apply for admissions. Admissions to these courses will be merit-based, as per candidate’s scores in the qualifying exam.
