Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

The candidates should be B.Sc. Nursing /Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing /B.Sc Hons. Nursing trained from the recognized Institutions not less than 55% aggregate marks. The candidates should be registered as registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) B.Sc/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with H.P State Nurses registration council Shimla/ any State Nursing Registration council at the time of counselling.
Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and after B.Sc. Nursing from the date of registration at the time of counselling.
Age Requirement: The age of female candidates should be between 17 to 35 years (as on 31st December of the admission year) and upper age can be relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates or as directed by HP Nurses Registration Council and INC (Indian Nursing Council) and at the time of admission Candidate should be physically/mentally fit.
