Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

• The candidates should be B.Sc. Nursing /Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing /B.Sc Hons. Nursing trained from the recognized Institutions not less than 55% aggregate marks. The candidates should be registered as registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) B.Sc/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with H.P State Nurses registration council Shimla/ any State Nursing Registration council at the time of counselling.
• Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and after B.Sc. Nursing from  the date of registration at the time of counselling.
• Age Requirement: The age of female candidates should be between 17 to 35 years (as on 31st December of the admission year) and upper age can be relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates or as directed by HP Nurses Registration Council and INC (Indian Nursing Council) and at the time of admission Candidate should be physically/mentally fit.
