SKIMS provides Postgraduate degree in various fields of Medicine and Medical Technology. The M.Sc degree is offered under 15 different specializations and DMRIT is provided with two specializations.
The duration of M.Sc programme is two years whereas, the duration of DMRIT course is one year.

SKIMS offers Doctor of Philosophy degree under four different specializations. The duration of Ph.D programmes is 2-5 years.
To qualify for admission to the Ph.D Course, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in written examination and minimum of 50% marks in the combined practical and viva-voce examination and select list shall be framed from amongst the candidates who qualify the entrance examination strictly on the basis of merit.
