NEET UG Exam

NEET UG stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate. The exam is a prerequisite to pursue a Medical or Dental Course in India and is accepted in every Medical and Dental Colleges.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit for a candidate as on December 31, 2021, should be 17 years and maximum age limit is 25.

NEET PG Exam

NEET PG stands for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Post graduate. This Medical exam is conducted for Medical Postgraduates to admit students to the MD/MS/Diploma courses.

NEET PG Exam Basic Eligibility

The candidates need to have a MBBS pass certificate from a recognized university.
The candidates need to have a permanent/ provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
The candidate should have completed one year of internship.
If the above needs are not met then the candidate would not be allowed to give the exam or their result would be cancelled.

NEET MDS Exam

NEET MDS stands for National eligibility Entrance Test for Master’s in Dental Surgery. The Exam is a prerequisite for pursuing a master's course in dentistry.

NEET MDS Exam Eligibility

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in BDS from a recognized college/University.
The interested Applicants should have completed their compulsory training of 12 months in rotation or practical training on or before March 31, 2019.
The Applicants must either be an Indian citizen, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) to apply for NEET MDS 2021.

FAQs

Ques. Can I get admission based on the entrance test alone?

Ans. Depending on the admission criteria, the admissions are based on merit in the entrance test or marks in the qualifying examination. However, all candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements. The College also assesses the non-cognitive qualities including cultural sensitivity, maturity, collaboration, reliability and communication skills.

Ques. Is there any management quota?

Ans. Yes, 40% of the seats are given for management quota. You can contact the Officer in – Charge of the admissions for the details.

Ques. What are the documents required while attending the counselling?

Ans. During counseling all the candidates are required to produce the original and two sets of photocopies of all the documents and the photographs required.

Ques.Is it easy to get hostel accommodation?

Ans. Candidates admitted are accommodated in Hostels on a first-come-first –serve basis. You can contact the Hostel Wardens after filling in applications obtained from the office for the same. The SVS campus has separate boys/girls hostels for medical/Nursing and Dental students. The Fees for the same can be obtained at the time of admission. Any breakage or damage done in the hostel premises is recoverable / deductible from the hostel security.

Ques. Who can apply under management quota?

Ans. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals who can not get through the respective state entrance tests can apply. They have to fulfill the required criteria.

Ques. Is there any facility for payment of fees in installments?

Ans. No, the entire first year fees is to be paid on the day of counseling/admission and subsequent fees on the dates to be notified.
