People’s College of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (PCMS), Bhopal is a medical College located in Bhopal. The college is a part of People’s University and operates as it’s medical college and Research Centre. It was established as a teaching hospital in 2002 and started admission in 2005.
People's University is situated in Bhopal, the beautiful "City of Lakes", capital of Madhya Pradesh. People's University has ten Constituent Institutes, People’s Medical College being one of them.
Admission to PMC is now conducted with NEET as qualifying exam. Earlier admission was conducted through MPPMT. People’s Medical College offers both UG and PG degree programs in form of MBBS and MS/MD.
At UG level, it provides MBBS which is a five and half year course (4 ½ yrs. course + 1 yr. Internship).
At PG level, it provides MD/MS, M.Sc. (Med. Microbiology) and M.Sc. (Med. Biochemistry).PG courses are for 3 Years in duration.
Admission to MBBS Program offered by People’s Medical College is made on the basis of candidate’s performance in NEET.
After declaration of result, students are allotted seats as per counselling.
The selection of students to M.B.B.S. course is based solely on merit of the candidate and determination of merit is on the basis of a competitive entrance examination NEET. Eligibility for selection to MBBS course is enumerated as follows :

People Medical College offers MS and MD Degree Programs under the tab of Postgraduate medical education. Admission to both the medical degree programs is made on the basis of NEET–PG examination conducted by CBSE.
Candidates must have passed MBBS examination successfully while also completing the compulsory 6 Month Internship upon clearing MBBS.

After result is declared, the counselling starts for allocation of seats for MS and MD courses. Students need to fulfill some criteria for admissions to this course.
For general students, minimum percentage of marks for eligibility for admission to postgraduate medical courses shall be 50% (fifty per cent).
For category students (SC, ST and OBC), minimum percentage of marks for eligibility for admission to postgraduate medical courses shall be forty per cent.
For admission in M.Sc. Medical Microbiology and M.Sc. Biochemistry, students need to follow certain eligibility criteria. These have been enumerated below:
