GROUND REALITY

What I Liked

Faculties are conscious about how students are learning
Professor really try to make us feel just like home and they are just like our parents
Reading room and Library facilities are provided

What I didn’t like

Basic needs are compromised in hostels like water
Library don't have newest edition books for all students and providing the newest edition to the ST group for free
Jamnagar have some narrow minded people not feeling safe enough to rome around

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course is actually very beautiful but the speed of the syllabus cover coverage and the syllabus is very fast and we required more time to at least cover and understand it understand the topic but reality is even we don't understand anything we have to write in exam just to get pass

Remarks:

I am in general category so I don't have really choice to opt for any college but for my cut off my score I have to get into this college As cut off change every year but in short for general category you have to be at least 630 above for now and in other categories I don't know much

What I Liked

Facilities are very good specially in anatomy department professor are too good.their teaching method too good.And teachers are very friendly so we can ask them any doubt nd they can solve it.so I like this most .bcz they are too good so I like them

What I Liked

Our college building is very big. It has separate hospital building also which is one of the largest hospital in Gujarat.
Our college has a Library and separate reading room where we can study very peacefully without any disturbance.
Our teachers are very supportive and teaches so well.

What I didn’t like

Our college campus is not so good it doesn't has any garden area where we can spend time with our friends.
Our college do not have any sports area we have to go outside the campus for playing
As we know mess food is always different from home food same happens here food is not so good but here mess is under the control of students itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is itself a name of honour and respectable profession. This profession gave me goosebumps as after god only doctor is the one who can save someone's life There is another level of happiness after saving life or giving a new life to individual. I think there should be more clinical practice than bookish knowledge which can help us to handle the patient better. There are so many internals and university exams after completion of every session. Yes these are somewhat difficult but if we start studying from starting of the session we can score good marks in exams.

Remarks:

For getting admission in any government medical College, we first have to give entrance exam named neet . It is a competitive exam so there are many applicants. But due to limited number of seats only few students are admitted in the course. Cutoff is different for all colleges but overall you have to score minimum of 650 because of increasing competition. I think number of seats should increase as number of applications are increasing tremendously. There is proper security as there are many cases of leaking of exams.

What I Liked

Hostel facilities here are nice and you don't have to worry about your room even in first year
There are student run mess which makes it easier for students
The campus area is quite safe and there is facilities of library and reading rooms

What I didn’t like

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is strictly according to the nmc guidelines and they teach you all the topics provided in it...their is also thorough clinical based studies which enhances the topics more for students

Remarks:

admission process was quite feasible and easy going...the student branch officers are very helpful and the entire process is very easy...also the seniors are available to guide us through the process if there is any difficulty

What I Liked

College structure and management of the college
Neat and Clean places which is required for healthy students
Mainly education system and project like activities

What I didn’t like

Something like ventilation issues causes suffocation
Attendance is taking through one biomatric machine
Canteen is not as much good more healthy food needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

Many of the system is as available as it should be but if some changes can occur can be like teaching methods of some professor who studies in high level of English and some of takes a lot of topics in one lacture. Overall it's great.

Remarks:

Addmission process needs lots of improvement where some of them behaves very rude sometimes which is not good for whom who actually want a proper guidance. They can be polite with tthe students and their work also

What I Liked

The distance between the classroom and hostel is very less. Especially for girls :)
The college building is new. But others facilities leave a lot to be desired. 🙂
The faculty is pretty is very good. You will not be disappointed by the quality of teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS teaching in this college is pretty hands on. You'll have your clinical postings regularly from second year onwards. There is a good inflow of patients in the hospital so exposure is pretty good.

Remarks:

You need to secure a rank within 10k in NEET as a general category student to have a chance at admission here. All the admission detail is provided on the college website. The exams are at an interval of 3 months
