Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center (KIMS & RC) is a self-financed co-educational college which is managed by the Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust. The college is approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and is affiliated by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The main aim of the college is to provide an affordable higher medical education, according to the needs of the community. The college offers Doctorate of Medicine course in the field of Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pathology. KIMS offers various facilities to the students like Central Library, Lecture Halls, Dissection Hall, Modern Gymnasium and Sporting facility.
