KCP Bangalore Admission

For B.Pharm and B.Pharm lateral entry, admission is done on the basis of KCET scores. Admission to M.Pharm is done on the basis of GPAT Score. Even for Pharm.D- Post Baccalaureate admission, the selection criterion is GPAT Score while for D.Pharm, admissions are done on the basis of merit in qualifying examination. Those clearing the applicable entrance exam shall be eligible for counselling.

Ques. What is the attendance criteria for B.Pharm course at KCP, Bangalore?

Ans. The candidate must have at least 80% attendance in theory and practical subjects separately. To be eligible for the examination, candidates must have completed the prescribed course satisfactorily.

Ques. What is the attendance criteria for both parts of the M.Pharm course?

Ans. M.Pharm course includes M.Pharm Part I for 12 months and M.Pharm Part II for 12 months. A minimum 80% attendance is required separately in the theory and practical assignments to appear for M.Pharm part-I examination and only those who attain 80% attendance in M.Pharm part- II shall be eligible to submit the dissertation.

Ques. What is the pass criteria for M.Pharm part-I?

Ans. To pass, the candidate must secure at least 50% marks in each subject in theory and practical separately including sessional marks and university examinations marks together.

Ques. What is the pass criteria for M.Pharm part- II?

Ans. The result of work submitted as dissertation carried out by a candidate on a selected research project under the guidance of a recognized postgraduate teacher shall be the criteria. A viva shall be held after submission. The minimum marks required are 50% marks of dissertation and viva voce and aggregate of 100 out of 200 marks.
