JC College of Law was established in the year 1991 and is situated in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. The college is affiliated to the Acharya Nagarjuna University and approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
JC College of Law offers courses at the undergraduate and the postgraduate level which is LLB and BA + LLB. LLB is of three-year duration and BA LLB is of five-year duration. Apart from these degree courses, the college also offers certification and diploma courses.
- Admission is given to 80% Convenor quota and the remaining 20% to Management quota.
- The eligibility for Convenor Quota or A Category seats is that candidate must qualify in AP LAWCET entrance exam.
- Candidate should have completed 10 + 2 + 3 from recognised University and should have obtained minimum 45% marks including languages.
- For SC/ ST Candidates, minimum aggregate percentage is 40%.
- If the candidate has secured 45% or more in B.Ed or other post graduate degree, then he /she is eligible to apply even if minimum eligibility is not satisfied at UG level.
- Candidates passed from Open University are not eligible to apply.
- Candidate applying through Management Quota need to not appear in LAWCET.
- The minimum percentage is reduced to 40% for SC /ST candidates.
- Candidates passing 10 + 2 from Open Universities are not eligible to apply for this course.
- Admission through management quota is made by the management of the college.
