The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), Bhopal Scholarship
The Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh jointly provide scholarships on a regular basis. Information about these scholarships is displayed on the notice board. Eligible students must address these applications with the Commissioner Higher Education duly forwarded by the Principal.
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship [CSSS]: National Scholarship Portal
Students who have secured minimum 80% marks in the 12th [Higher Secondary] are advised to apply online for Post Matric Scholarship under National Scholarship Portal and take the print out of the online application and submit the same along with following mandatory documents in the college office.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 80% marks in 12th [Higher Secondary] 1st Year Students.
- Minimum 60% marks in previous Semester Exam for Renewal Applicants.
- ATKT/Semester Break students are not eligible as per the norms of CSSS.
- Not Exceed Annual Income of Rs. 6 lakhs of parents/guardian as the norms of CSSS.

- Institution Verification Form (To be downloaded from the portal & take the print out)
- Self Declaration of Income Certificate by the student
- Self Declaration of Community by the student
- In case of Fresh: Self Attested Certificate of 'Previous Academic Mark Sheet' as filled in Form.
- In case of Renewal: Self Attested Certificate of Previous Year (Semester) Examination passed Mark Sheet photocopy.
- Fee Receipt (Current Academic Year)
- Proof of Bank Account in the name of student

Students are required to apply online for the scholarship under National Scholarship Portal. Students have to submit hard copy of online scholarship application with required mandatory documents [as per the guidelines and norms of NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL] in the college office for the verification.
SC/ ST/ OBC (Reserved Categories) Scholarships (Government of Madhya Pradesh)
Online application forms are available on the website Madhya Pradesh Scholarship Portal 2.0 www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in.
- Eligibility for scholarship will be considered only if the original Transfer Certificate (T.C.) is attached with the application Students who fail in their first, third & fifth semester are not eligible for scholarship.
- An applicant is eligible for only one scholarship and his/her eligibility for this scholarship will be cancelled if he/she is known to be the recipient of another scholarship.
- A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory for all scholarship holders.
- The scholarship holder must submit an income certificate for the last financial year by an authorized officer.
- No more than two wards from one family are entitled to the scholarship.
- The scholarship holder must have a savings bank account in the State Bank of India for any kind of scholarship. In case of failure to comply with this requirement, the scholarship will be returned to A J Welfare Department.
- All details regarding the scholarships will be duly displayed on the College Notice Board.
- If the approved applicant fails to collect the scholarship amount within the stipulated period, the scholarship will be withdrawn and the applicant will be held responsible for this.

Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana - MP Scholarship Scheme for 12th Pass
The Madhya Pradesh Government has announced the Mukhyamantri Medhavi Chatra Yojana. Under this scheme meritorious students of 12th class in the state will be benefited. All the eligible applicants can submit their applications online i.e. by filling the online application form. This scholarship scheme for 12th pass in Madhya Pradesh is for those meritorious 12th pass students who are going to take admissions for degree or other courses in Governmental and Grant-in-Aid institutions.

Eligibility
- Applicant should be resident of Madhya Pradesh
- The annual income of applicant's father / guardian should not exceed 6 Lakhs
- Student who have applied for any other scholarship are not eligible for this scheme.
- Student should have scored 70% or more in M.P. Board or 85% or more in CBSE or ICSE
Mandatory Documents
- Self-Attested photocopies of 10th & 12th Board Mark sheets.
- Photocopy of Saving Bank Account in the name of student.
- Photocopy of Aadhaar Card [Aadhaar Number to be linked with Student Saving Bank Account and NPCI]
- Photocopy of Domicile Certificate of M.P. State in the name of student.
- Photocopy of Fees Receipt.
- Photocopy of Valid Income Certificate of Parent (Income Certificate issued by the Government Competent Authority in case of Private employee/Farmer/Businessmen)
- Form-16 & Latest Payslip in case of Parent working in Government Office.

Gaon Ki Beti Yojana
As per rules and directions of the Higher Education girl students of rural areas are entitled to receive scholarships. With the aim of encouraging meritorious girl students, the government of MP and the Dept of Higher Education have made available scholarships through "Gaon Ki Beti Yojna" as per the following rules:
Eligibility Criteria
- This scheme is applicable in the entire state of Madhya Pradesh.
- All applicants must be rural based and should have passed their 12th Class from a village school.
- This scheme is to be implemented by all government educational institutions, grant-in-aid and private educational institutions and universities whose fees are in accordance with government colleges.
- In case there is no government college within a radius of 5 kms of the village of the meritorious rural girl applicant, she will be considered as eligible to receive the full benefits of the scheme in a private recognized college.
- On fulfilling all requirements, girl students who have passed their 12th from Navodaya Schools will also be eligible for this scheme.
- Girl students who are residents of towns and cities, and have passed their 12th from these areas are not eligible for this scheme.
- From each village, every year girl students who have obtained first division marks in their 12th class examination and wish to pursue further studies in courses run by higher education, school education, technical education or medical education departments will be eligible to benefit from this scheme.
- Applicants are eligible for this scheme regardless of caste and income.
- Applicants for this scheme should have passed their 12th class in the same year in which they apply for higher education.
- Those applicants who get supplementary in their 12th class but are able to pass their supplementary exam with first division are also considered eligible for the scheme.
- At the undergraduate level, applicants must register as regular candidates.
Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS)
This scholarship scheme is fir J&K Students only. J & K Cell deals with the implementation of the Prime Ministers Special Scholarship Scheme to J & Students to pursue the scheme to fulfill the objectives of the Prime Ministers Special Scholarship Scheme to J & K Students.
