IIHM Kolkata offers admission to various courses through the performance in the E-Chat as well as in the personal interview. E-Chat is being conducted every week for offering admission. Those who qualify for the test, have to appear in an online Interview through the video call. The application form is available on the official website.

IIHM Kolkata offers a BA program in Hospitality Management from the University of West London UK, Advanced Program in International Hospitality Administration, Diploma Programmes, BA (Vocational Studies) in Tourism Management from IGNOU. The Institute provides Diploma on the MAKAUT Kolkata campus.

Admissions to these programs are done on the basis of IIHM E- Chat (Electronic Common Hospitality Admission Test).
One can apply either online or offline by paying an application fee of INR 600.
Admission to B.A. is based on scores in 10+2 exams in any stream or its equivalent.
Candidates must have studied English as one of the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.
The merit list of B.A. admissions will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination along with GD & PI.
The upper limit of age must be 22 years as of July 1st of the academic year the candidate is applying.
