Times School of Journalism, a constituent of Times Group, was established in 2010. However, the PG diploma program in Journalism which TSJ now offers was started by Times Group in 1985. From 1985 to 2010 i.e. till the establishment of TSJ, PG diploma program was offered by Times Centre for Media and Management Studies (TCMS). Today, Times School of Journalism offers one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism.
- Application forms for the PG diploma program can be downloaded from the website of the institute.
- Filled in application form along with necessary documents have to be sent to the institute before the last date.
- Candidates applying for the PG diploma program must have passed Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks.
- Admission is done on the basis of All India Entrance Examination followed by personal interview.
- Applicants can choose their location for giving an entrance test and interview and also have to attach a write-up stating the reason on why they want to do this course.
- The entrance exam consists of two parts A and B.
- Part A has questions to test English Language skills and understanding of the candidate and Part B consists of questions of General Knowledge and Awareness.
- Candidate must be of maximum 28 years of age to be eligible for admission.
