Times School of Journalism, a constituent of Times Group, was established in 2010. However, the PG diploma program in Journalism which TSJ now offers was started by Times Group in 1985. From 1985 to 2010 i.e. till the establishment of TSJ, PG diploma program was offered by Times Centre for Media and Management Studies (TCMS). Today, Times School of Journalism offers one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism.

Filled in application form along with necessary documents have to be sent to the institute before the last date.
Candidates applying for the PG diploma program must have passed Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks.
Admission is done on the basis of All India Entrance Examination followed by personal interview.
Applicants can choose their location for giving an entrance test and interview and also have to attach a write-up stating the reason on why they want to do this course.
The entrance exam consists of two parts A and B.
Part A has questions to test English Language skills and understanding of the candidate and Part B consists of questions of General Knowledge and Awareness.
Candidate must be of maximum 28 years of age to be eligible for admission.

Times School of Journalism PG Diploma in Journalism Admission 2023

Times School of Journalism (TSJ) conducts a one-year full-time PG Diploma program in Journalism. The programme enables students to learn the art of reporting, writing, editing, designing, scripting, programming etc.

Eligibility for applying to the course is graduation in any discipline with at least 45% marks. However, those with less than 45% but having relevant experience in the media industry will also is considered for admission.

Admission to this program is done on the basis of All India Entrance Examination followed by personal interview.

Candidates in their Final Year of Graduation can also apply.
However such candidates must submit their Final year mark sheet/ proof of graduation by December 31.
Applicants should be not more than 28 years of age. Age limit can be relaxed for those with relevant experience.

Candidates seeking admission to the PG diploma course have to download the application form for the entrance exam from the official website. Application forms must be downloaded, filled and sent to the college with requisite copies of certificates and examination fee. The exam will be held in Delhi and other metros in two dates.

How to Apply?

Visit the official website of the institute and click on “Download the Application Form” tab on the homepage.
Take print out and fill the application form. Affix one passport size photograph on the application form and another to the enclosed Admit Card.
Make payment of application fees by online mode or DD/Pay Order in favour of -- "Times Centre for Media and Management Studies", payable at New Delhi.
Candidates must fill the details of DD/ Online payment on the application form.
