One of my friends studied at Shyam Lal College (SLC) Evening. Let me share his views about the college which might give you some information. The overall performance of the faculty is average. Ad-hoc teachers only take regular classes. The student crowd is not good. Students who are focused on their career are less, therefore have no sense of enthusiasm or competition. The library is not good. Lots of study materials are unavailable. Due to careless teaching and less dedication in studies, the students during the internals are bound to get low scores. No extracurricular activities take place. Societies are for namesake. They exist only on papers. It is suggested that you opt for other colleges because if you are very ambitious, you might get disheartened studying here.
