Southern College of Engineering and Technology, Thrissur, Kerala, The Southern College of Engineering and Technology is the institute that is established in the Trichur district of Kerala. The college is spread in over 15 acres of land. The training programme offered by the institute is combination of Airframe, Aero Engine as well as Jet Engine technologies. The college tries to impart the students with theoretical as well as practical knowledge in maintaining the aircraft and its parts. The institute has a group of well experienced faculty headed by the chief instructor who is appointed by the DGCA Govt. of India. The prime objective of the AME is to provide the students with the experience and knowledge on aircraft maintenance technologies.

The students get to practice and learn skills related to maintenance on sixteen aircraft engines and systems. The college also has a well-stocked library which is updated continuously with latest books and reference materials for the students. Hostel facilities are also provided at an economical rate to the students.
