Course Description

Offline Process :

Candidates need to download the application form from the official website of the college.
Fill in the personal details and academic details as per required.
Pay the application fee and send it to SPA Vijayawada by post/courier.
Application fee for Ph.D. per course is INR.3,000/- for General/OBC/EWS categories and INR 2,000/- for SC/ST/PH categories and should be paid through online only.
Application fee for PG per course is INR.2,000/- for General/OBC/EWS categories and Rs. 1,000/- for SC/ST/PH categories and should be paid via online mode.

Online Process

The scanned copy of the application with all the necessary documents can also be sent to admissions@spav.ac.in.
However, the submission of a hard copy of the application is mandatory without which the application shall not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a B.Arch. degree from a recognized university with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale for SC/ST categories).

Selection Process

Admission shall be made through a written test followed by Interview.
Also, the Statement of Purpose (SOP), Work Portfolio will be scrutinized for the final section in case of the direct admission.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE score valid up till three relevant years from the admission year.
Seats will also be allotted via CCMT counselling apart from direct admissions.

One of my friends recently graduated from the School of Planning and Architecture Delhi. Here is some snippet of his experience.

The campus is situated at the heart of the city. It is split into two blocks. There is hardly any space for extra-curricular activities.
The faculty base is quite good and they also bring visiting professors, guest lecturers, etc. However, there is a lack of a research interface.
The administration operates the same way as any other Govt. organization.

Overall, you will have a unique experience on campus.
