Uluberia College was founded in the year 1948 in Howrah, West Bengal. The college is affiliated with University of Kolkata.
The college offers BA, BSc, B.Com (Hons and General) courses of 3-year duration each along with B.Ed. program of 2-years duration. Apart from regular courses Uluberia College also offers M.A and M.Sc. programs in various streams on distance mode which are affiliated from Vidyasagar University and Netaji Subhash Open University respectively.
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board are eligible to join BA, BSc, B.Com (General) course.
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in best four subjects and minimum 45% marks in honors subject and minimum 55% marks in aggregate are considered eligible to join BA and B.Com (Hons) course.
- The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to BSc (Hons) course is candidates must have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in best four subjects and honors subjects.
- Those who have passed Graduation Degree in any discipline are eligible to join B.Ed. course.
- Admission to each UG program including B.Ed. is given on merit in qualifying exam.
