- Application fee is INR 1250/- for General category and INR 625/- for SC/ST
CAT-MGU 2020
- Register online on the official website by filling the Name , DOB and contact details.
- Fill the application form with Personal , Educational , Contact details .
- Pay the application fees INR 1000/- for General category and INR 500/- for SC/ST via online payment options

Admission for Ph.D.
- Shortlisted candidates have to register online by paying the application fees.
- Application fee of INR 1000 can be paid through Mahatma Gandhi University Cash Counter/Friends/SBT challan.

Any student who has bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Food Technology & Quality Assurance, Food Science & Quality Control, Home Science with Chemistry (as auxiliary), Microbiology or Life Science stream with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate from a recognized University can apply for the MSc Food Technology & Quality Assurance Programme. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. SEBC (Socially and educationally backward class) OEC (Other Eligible Castes) will be given a relaxation of 3% and 5%, respectively in the prescribed minimum marks. The admission to the MSc programme shall be as per the rules and regulations of the university.

Eligibility for PG
- M.S.c.: - Candidates who have passed B.Sc. in relevant specialization are eligible for admission from a recognized University.
- M.Com. :- Candidates who have passed B.Com. or BBA from a recognized University
Admission Process for PG
- Admission to M.Com. and some M.Sc. Specialization course is through PGCAP.
- Admission through PGCAP is through the merit in qualifying degree.
- Admission to some M.Sc. Specialization is based on merit basis in the qualifying degree while others are given admission on the basis of CAT-MGU.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling where candidates have to select preferences of specialization.
- Seats will be allocated based on preferences, rank obtained and availability of seats.
- Candidates are required to bring the necessary documents during the counselling round.
