St Dominic's College, Kottayam was established in 1965 under the catholic management of St.Dominic’s Forane church, Kanjirappally. The college starts functioning in a temporary building with an enrolment of 400 students in five batches. It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU). The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in the fields of arts, science and commerce. The college has girls hostel within campus with all modern facilities. It also has a placement cell that provide proper guidance to the students to help them in their placement.
