Spicer Memorial College (SMC) has been the flagship of Adventist Education in Southern Asia Division since its establishment. It was relocated to Pune in 1942 from Bangalore. The mission of the College is to provide the finest education system that prepares students for the challenges of a professional world. Their vision is to see themselves as the topmost Christian higher education institute providing graduates with a commitment to do the service towards God and fellow humans selflessly. They have objectives to achieve the vision and mission adequately. Spicer College adopts a Christian approach towards education as given by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The founder believes that Education is not only a preparation for the future life and industrial development, but is the time of development of mental, physical and spiritual powers. The object of education is the great object of life as said by him. Spicer Memorial College tries to address the social, spiritual, intellectual, physical and aesthetic dimensions in the educational endeavor of the students and the teachers, to produce the best out of them.
