All of these are very good courses to pursue, but all of them are different from each other and have their own advantages. Let's have a look at all the courses.

  1. B.Com (Hons) from SRCC: This course is among the best for commerce and the alumni network of SRCC is very good. It will help the corporate industry and helps the students to secure a good job in a reputed company. The course curriculum of this college is of high standards and it will have a great impact on your personal growth and development.
  2. BMS from Shaheed Sukhdev: This is another popular course and is much better than many of the BBA courses. But it lacks behind other courses such as B.Com and IPM in terms of recognition and exposure in the industry.
  3. IPM from IIM Indore: It is a newly introduced course and there is not any alumni base. This makes it uncertain for some companies to visit during placements. The placement opportunities and the industry exposure available in this course are still unknown. But IPM can be a very good option for personal development.

These are a small introduction for all the courses, and now you can choose one from any of them according to priorities and requirements.

Though Shri Ram College of Commerce has high cut-offs for admission at the graduation level, it is incorrect to assume that all SRCC students who pass the CAT exam will be admitted to IIM Ahmadabad. It is important to remember that work experience is highly valued at IIM Ahmadabad.

Many students from other colleges apply to prestigious institutes. Nothing can stop you from getting into IIM Ahmedabad if you are determined to do so. So remember that regardless of where you studied, you can still get into IIM Ahmedabad.

To get into SRCC, your class 12th results will be the most important. To score a 95 and above 8-10 hours of daily studying is necessary. Revision is one of the key parts. If you also have a proper, more than 75% attendance in your 12th, you are good to go.

Subjects like accountancy and economics cannot be mugged up in a day, so start preparing for them as early as possible.

Try finishing your syllabus before your Pre-Boards and attempt prelims, which will give you an idea about the exam and the proper time frame to complete it in.

Try understanding the practical applicability of the content. Practice as much as possible. There is no other alternative for it.

Set targets for yourself and complete them. Study to learn something new and not only to clear a stage in life.

One of my friends studied at SRCC. According to her, life at the college is amazing as well as welcoming.

Here are some facts about SRCC that you should know:

  • It has the best student crowd. You will be surrounded by toppers all around the country.
  • The academic environment will obviously be very competitive as well.
  • The class timings are from 8:30 am to 5:15 pm, with different schedules for every section.
  • Classes are very interactive with really good discussions taking place, hence learning a lot.
  • You will find the library always filled with students, especially during internals.
  • There you will see people preparing for professional courses, doing their assignments, reading newspapers and going through the amazing book collection.
  • There are around 30-40 student-run societies and cells which do a commendable job in organizing various events and fests.
  • You get a lot of exposure and learn teamwork and other soft skills.
  • Crossroads, the cultural fest of SRCC is an extravaganza with amazing performances and artists.
  • You will also get to enjoy cultural fests of all the DU colleges.

You will meet an amazing bunch of people here, each one with their unique skills and talents. So, yes life at SRCC is definitely more fun when compared to other colleges.

SRCC is definitely better than Hansraj College. I say this based on the reviews I got from my friends from both institutes.

  • SRCC is India's best commerce college.
  • It has an exceptional teaching faculty. SRCC faculties are authors cum professors. Most of the books that you will refer to study are written by SRCC professors.
  • It also ranks first in undergraduate placements. In the 2020 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was 31 LPA and the average CTC offered was 8 LPA. Some of the major recruiters at the institute are BCG, Deloitte, Wipro, Google, etc.
  • Because SRCC is located in the north campus, the campus life and atmosphere are among the greatest that a student may find in India.
  • Crossroads, the SRCC cultural festival, is the most well-known DU event.

It's a great college. Given the choice between SRCC and Hansraj, you should go for the former.

According to the students of SRCC, the GBO is a really underrated and underappreciated course, but has a potential to be considered one of the top management courses in India. The course started with an inclination towards international management. There are few benefits to the course.

  • SRCC has a brand value. It is one of the best commerce colleges in the country.
  • The Faculty members are well experienced.
  • Every faculty associated with GBO has excelled in his or her field.
  • Lectures on Communication and International trade also take place.
  • The Principal takes classes on Financial Management.
  • Taking a Management course is an investment which would give a proper return in the future.
  • With a fee of 80,000 per semester and students getting a salary package of 9.5 lakhs is a decent offer.

GBO, therefore will for sure provide a platform to start off your career but it depends on how you modify yourself and enhance your skills to get maximum benefits.

The worth of a certain course is determined by what you are expecting from the course. GIM PGDM course offers a general comprehensive view of Management whereas SRCC Delhi GBO offers a less comprehensive course. GBO has been losing its charm and is going through a very bad phase. GIM on the other hand is recovering fast and is reestablishing its value.

Talking about fees, GIM has higher fees than GBO. This might be an important factor for you so with both options carefully before making the final decision.

One of my friends studied GBO at SRCC. The course started with an inclination towards international management.

  • SRCC GBO is one of the finest courses in India. Considering ROI, learning curve, brand image, and opportunities available it is top notch.
  • If you are willing to study business and get a corporate job or start a business of your own then it is the perfect course.
  • SRCC GBO provides you the best faculty when it comes to academics.
  • SRCC GBO gives you the proper corporate exposure. These are done through webinars, corporate guest lectures, workshops, alumni sessions, industrial visits, and internship opportunities.
  • Students with an overall good academic performance get a job offer from a reputed company with an average salary package of INR 10-12 LPA.

Therefore, it is recommended that GBO at SRCC is worth joining and has good future prospects.

IBS Hyderabad and SRCC are both among the elite B Schools of the country with a high placement rate. Some of the major points of accentuate of both the B Schools are

ISB Hyderabad

  • The batch size is around 900 students
  • The B School has more than 30 clubs that assist in many areas like Corporate Relations Cell, Alumni Network, Management Development Programs, and Mentoring.
  • The INS Hyderabad campus is visited by big names like TCS, Tata motors, JP Morgan, and CRISIL for placements.
  • The recent statistics have revealed a fall in the placement ratio and very less commendable jobs. The institute has as a result lost its original charm and reputation.

SRCC GBO

  • It has a big brand name as it functions on the same pattern IIFT, DSE(MBA-IB).
  • The batch size is as small as 90 students only
  • The faculties are one of the best in the country and are extremely cooperative and experienced.
  • Various student-driven societies are responsible for different activities like Summits, fests, Events, Competitions, Quizzes, etc, and even educational trips for students.

One of my friends studied at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). According to him it is a fulfilment for every commerce aspirant. It is ranked as one of the best commerce colleges in the country. It offers two undergraduate courses - B.Com (H) and B.A Economics (H).

  • For taking admission in B.Com(H), you need to score a minimum 98% (Best 4) in Class 12 boards or other equivalent examinations.
  • It is compulsory for students to have Mathematics in their class 12th but not a compulsion to add it in Best 4.
  • BA Economics (H) requires you to score 98.5% (Best 4) in Class 12 boards and it is compulsory to include Mathematics in Best 4 while calculating the percentage.

You must study any three of the listed subjects which is mentioned in the DU website for the respective course, otherwise 2.5% gets deducted.
