Scoring 690 (normalised) marks, I completed the CUET - UG entrance exam. The examination and admission process went extremely well. Eligibility criteria are so simple any 3 domain (core) subjects and any 1 language.

I don't know what minimum qualification is for faculty but the faculty method is good. Not tough to pass exams only slowly studying daily then you automatically pass the exams
I am admitted to Shivaji College University of Delhi through the Common University entrance test (CUET). Candidates must pass 12 class. Cuet is required for government regular college Application form fees and dates are shown on the Cuet Samarth website. Yes, improvement is available for colleges to upgrade your admission at the time of the college round.
Read Full ReviewThe main reason for me to choose my course is my interest. The faculty members seen till now from the date of admission are not as cooperative as compared to they should be. Now there is 1 sem exam in December.
My admission was done based on a cuet exam which was held in May end. Details regarding this cuet application form can be found on the Cuet samarth website however the date for the cuet exam 2024 has also been released. I am from the general category so can't avail myself of any benefit of reservation.
Read Full ReviewI chose B.A. because I am interested in pursuing psychology, although I didn't end up getting the subject. In Sociology class, there are 20 students at most, and even in bigger classes at most there are 30-40 students. So the faculty-student ratio is good. Term exams haven't happened yet.
Eligibility, application procedure, and such things were made available by Delhi University, To tell it in my own words, I needed to have at least one subject from a list of subjects, and another subject from another list of subjects in my class 12th exams, I needed to take CUET, and in CUET, only the subjects which were in my 12th would be considered for admission. Application forms for CUET can be found in the NTA or CUET samarth portal. But just giving CUET and selecting Delhi University through CUET is not enough, after the exams, I had to register for CSAS which is not an exam just a seat allocation system that Delhi University uses, and they said students must register for CSAS whenever it's mentioned. It's pretty good and I don't think it needs any changes, they just need to make it smoother and more reliable I think.
Read Full ReviewI had a deeper interest in Hindi subject from the very beginning so I took Hindi at my graduation and also have plans to pursue a master's in this subject. Faculty members and professors in our college are a masterpiece of the college. They are very frank and friendly and are always ready to help students when in need. Almost all professors have a doctorate degree and have past years of experience. Term exams are semester based i.e. twice in a year so total 6 semesters in total. The difficulty level of the exams is easy to moderate.
Our course was named as the CBCS LOCF-OC which has now changed to NEP. We got admission to DU colleges on the basis of 12th percentage/CGPA. DU released cut-off percentages for various colleges based on their rankings and we had to apply according to the course we wanted to enroll in. I chose BA hons Hindi because I had deeper interests in Hindi subject and want to pursue a master's in this. Nowadays admission is done by filling out the CUET form from the DU website and based on the marks obtained you get admission.
Read Full ReviewShivaji College of Delhi University is one of the best off-campus colleges which has earned its worth. It recently got an 'A' accreditation from NAAC which is quite notable. Some of its plus points have been listed below:
The overall ambiance of the college is moderate with a hint of glamour.
Shivaji College is among the best off-campus colleges at Delhi University. It has excellent infrastructure. The faculty base of Shivaji is well-experienced. Most of the faculty members are friendly and interactive. You won’t face difficulties connecting with your teachers or getting their help on any academic issue.
The student crowd is great, on campus you will be among talented peers. As a student of Shivaji, you will enjoy taking part in many club and society activities.
According to the reviews online, Shivaji College is better than Kalindi College. Here are some reasons as to why:
Categories | Kalindi College | Shivaji College |

Placement Percentage | - | 60-80% |
Average CTC | 3-4 LPA | 6 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | HCL, Tech Mahindra, etc. | Cognizant, Amazon, etc. |
Lastly, you should keep in mind to choose the course over the college. As your dedication towards the course will provide you success in your career than the name and reputation of the college.
It’s difficult to choose between these two choices, as the courses mentioned in the question are different. Between B.Com and BMS, the former offer better scope comparably. BMS will be good for you if you want a career in Management.
Doing a BMS degree from Shivaji College will be comparably better because of the following reasons.
Although you should keep in mind that B.Com (Hons) gives basic knowledge regarding all fields of the corporate world i.e. Accountancy, Management, Statistics, Law, etc.
Among Maharaja Agrasen College (MAC) and Shivaji College, the former is known to be a strict and disciplined institution while the latter is much lenient.
But, all in all ultimately everything depends on the student and their hard work and dedication towards the course. Because the colleges are more or less the same, it is how you prepare yourself for your career ahead.
Ramanujan and Shivaji are the best options. Shivaji will offer you a great campus experience compared to the other colleges mentioned here. Whereas, Ramanujan will offer great infrastructural facilities.
You can go to Motilal Nehru if you really want to get into the south campus. However, students usually go to Ramanujan or Shivaji after making the cutoff. So, choose wisely.
Among the colleges mentioned it will be better if you go for Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma college.
Categories | Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College |
Course Fee | INR 39,000 |
Placement Percentage | 80% |
Highest CTC | 15 LPA |
Average CTC | 5 LPA |

Here is how your preference should be. At first it is Atma Ram, followed by Deshbandhu College. If you are not able to get admission in both of these, then opt for Keshav Mahavidyalaya or Rajdhani College.
