The S.V. Arts & Science College, Gudur was established in 1973. It is a self-financed college. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur. The college offers three years Bachelor Degree & two years Master Degree course in Arts, Commerce, Science and Business Administration.

The aim of college is to develop educational standards through the latest methods of teaching and to promote and encourage qualitative education. The College is of the opinion that infrastructural facilities are indispensable to produce brilliant software engineers. The vision of the institute is to make the students techno savvy so that they can face the national or international challenge.
