However, many professors teach in Tamil, since most of the students are from Tamil medium. The college starts at 8:30 am and end at 1 pm. So, you will get plenty of free time to do what you want. If you utilize your time well, it is definitely worth joining the college.
The History department of Presidency College, Chennai is one of the oldest departments of the institute. The faculties are well-qualified. The departmental library has a good collection of books. If you are interested in pursuing a History course, Presidency College Chennai can be a good place for you. However, you should know that most of the students are Tamil, so it can be difficult to adjust.

They have common toilets and washrooms. Despite the poor facilities, the environment in the hostels is peaceful. It is ideal for studies.
