PGDAV College (Evening) admissions 2023 will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores conducted by NTA. An application seeking admission to UG courses must appear for the CUET UG examination.

Once the CUET results are released, the registration process will start in three phases. In 1st phase, qualifying candidates will be required to register themselves on Delhi University’s admission portal-- admission.uod.ac.in. In the Second Phase, they will be asked to submit their program and college choices for seat distribution. Seat Allocation will be done through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal in the third phase. PGDAV College (Evening) UG Admission 2023

PGDAV College provides UG curriculum for 3 years as a full-time regular course. All the UG courses like, B.A, B.Sc and B.Com are offered as Honors and General courses. To be eligible for any of the mentioned courses, applicants must qualify 10+2 from a recognized board. Admission is strictly based on CUET marks.

PGDAV College (Evening) UG Selection Process

Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses at PGDAV College must clear the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The final selection will be done through e-counselling conducted by Delhi University on the basis of CUET scores. CUET is divided into the following three sections:

Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language.
Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects.
Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

For UG admissions, candidates must visit the official CUET UG official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
For PG admissions, visit the CUET PG official website – cuet.nta.nic.in.
Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.
After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button.
After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully.
After filling the necessary details candidates will have to upload important documents such as signature, photograph, marksheet, etc. Candidates must upload all the required documents.
Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
After submitting the fee, candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future reference.

Visit the official website of Delhi University – admission.uod.ac.in or CSAS portal – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
Click on “Register” in the menu bar.
Read all the information carefully and then click on “proceed”.
Enter your personal and academic details.
Submit the necessary documents such as photograph, signature, class X marksheet, category certificate.
Pay an application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking/UPI/etc.
Submit the application form.
Take a printout of application form for future reference.

Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Admission Process 2023

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted.
Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.

Reflection on our campus experience.

What I Liked

Library is good. Faculty members are friendly.
The playground is good. It helps in sports.
Various societies, helps in professional development

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure. They need to develop in it.
The auditorium also needs development. Little outdated.
The gate. It requies a classy development.

Remarks:

Eligibility is if you get average msrks in cuet like 550 above then youre eligible. You can find it on smarth portal,CSAS. Reservation helps alot..specially for sc and st. Preference list should be excluded and uni should give them the college.

Insights of the college

What I Liked

The faculty is nice they always encourage Students
The ground is big and good for relaxing and chilling
The canteen is awesome and have a variety of food

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is the worst component of college
Some times the teachers does not comes to classes the whole semester
There are very few placements opportunities in the college

Remarks:

The admission process is now online through cuet. The minimum quota of you need is 550 out of 800 to get into this college. The eligibility of the courses is that you should be 12th pass The exams are conducted every month as class internals sometimes Presentation are conducted To assist this students.

A college that need to improve alot

What I Liked

Location : very close to metro station, vinobapuri
Canteen : cheep and okish taste and lot's of variety
Flexibility: there's too much flexibility in class, and not too much pressure of attendance unlike other colleges

What I didn’t like

Locality: there's are slums in back side of college
Crowd: crowds of these college are wierd ,most of them from third tier cities not feels like du's students
Infrastructure: not feels like du and faculty also average

I didn't apply, I'm just general category student Eligibility for my course is basic all the subjects of different stream , any one can apply for ba After cuet ,all thing intergretated smoothly Exam timing ; afternoon 2:30 starting time Admission process is smooth no need to improvement

The college life and peer group at PGDAV depends on the course you are choosing. Few of my friends pursued their B.Com (H) from this college and they vouch for the teaching faculty and peer group. It is also a great option for studies related to drama, theater acting, singing, etc. From time to time there can be problems at the campus but it is part of college life.
